Agreement between “Property Owner” and the Village of Spencerville.

I agree to have the Village of Spencerville remove and dispose of the sidewalk and/or driveway approach that adjoins my property. I understand that this will be done at no charge to me, unless I do not complete the new sidewalk construction within thirty (30) days of the removal of the old sidewalk and/or driveway approach.

I agree to follow all of the rules and specifications as spelled out in Ordinance #02-32 (An Ordinance Regulating Construction And Repair Of Sidewalks And Driveway Approaches), during the construction of the sidewalks and/or driveway approach on said property. The Village will not be responsible for any landscaping work that is needed due to the removal of the old sidewalks, nor will the Village be responsible for any landscaping work after the new sidewalks have been installed.

I understand that if I do not complete the construction of my new sidewalks and/or driveway approach within thirty (30) days of the old sidewalk and/or driveway approach being removed; I will be charged $500.00 by the Village of Spencerville for the removal and disposal of said sidewalks and/or driveway approach. I shall pay this fee directly to the Village of Spencerville; or it will be assessed to my property taxes.
