Thursday, June 24, 2010  

Community Garage Sales (9:00 a.m. to ???) -- Maps are available at the Spencerville EMS Building, 111 S. Pearl St. For more information please call the EMS meeting room 419-647-6369.

Carnival Rides (5:00 to 10:00 p.m.) -- Downtown Spencerville.  Sponsored by the Spencerville Fire Dept.

Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull (5:30 Registration; 6:00 Start time) Huntington Bank Parking Lot; Age classes 0-2 yrs, 3-4 yrs, 5-6 yrs, and 7-8 yrs.

Adult Beverage Tent (6:00 to Midnight).  LIVE MUSIC by The Will Freed Band starting at 9:00 p.m.

Gospel Compass Tent - Live Music (6:00 to 10:00). 6:30 Found Praise Band; 6:45 Bethany Potter, 7:00 Trinity Praise; 8:00 Compass Praise Band.

Gazebo Dedication (6:30 p.m.).  Entertainment by The Youth Choir directed by Janis Griffin, also Jazz by Mrs. Griffin and Mr. VanGorder.

Pie Throw sponsored by the Football Parents.  Come throw a pie at the local athletes.  Old Jerseys will also be on sale.  This will run all 3 days.

Dunking Booth sponsored by the Spencerville Pool Committee.  This will run all 3 days.

Community Garage Sales (9:00 a.m. to ???) - Maps are available at the Spencerville EMS Building, 111 S. Pearl St. 

Chuffer's Chicken (11:00 a.m. to ??????) - Chuffer's Drive-Thru, located at 13305 Spencerville Rd.

Mason/Eastern Stars Food Stand (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) - located at 101 N. Broadway. Brats, Hot dogs and Homemade pies and more.

Fire Department Food Stand (5:00 p.m. to ????) at the Fire hall.

Little Miss Summerfest and Miss Summerfest  Contest (K to 6th grade) (6:00 p.m.) at the VFW, 130 S. Broadway.  Please contact Tiffany Seibert at 419-647-6490 (daytime) or 419-647-2040 (evenings) for further details.

Cake Decorating and Pie Baking Contest.  (6:00 p.m. at VFW)  Items will be auctioned off at the end of the night.  Click here for more details.

Games and Food Booths (4:00 to Midnight), Downtown Spencerville.  Come and enjoy games and food booths for all ages.

Gospel Compass Tent - Live Music (6:30 p.m. to ????) Live Music. 6:30 p.m. Alexa Brown;   7:00 p.m. At The Cross; during break (8:00) Bethany Potter; 9:30 Plugged In.

Spencerville Subway/Shell 4 Mile Run at the Spencer Twp. Park, Wisher Dr. (7:30 a.m. Registration Starts, 8:30 a.m.-Fun Run (1 mile); 9:00 a.m. 4 mile Run), contact Brian McMichael at 419-647-6433 for further details.

Cruisers Car Show, Antique Tractors, and Motorcycles. (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; registration from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Registration fee is $10, Awards at 3:00 p.m.) Sponsored by the Cruisers Car Club.    Antiques tractors and motorcycles are welcome.  The car show will be held on S. Corn Hole Tournament (1:00 p.m.) located at the Beverage Tent.  Sign up at the beverage tent during that weekend or by contacting John Beebe at 419-236-3238. Registration ends at noon.  Double elimination.

Gospel Compass Tent - Live Music. Noon to 2:00 YES FM Radio Station- live broadcasts and give-aways; 2:00 p.m. -  Aaron Bump and Company; 4:00p.m. - Branches; 5:00 p.m. - The Ocean is Black (Teen Band); 6:00 - McKenzie Anderson (Acoustic) 7:30 - Looking UP (Recording artists from Detroit)

Entertainment following Parade - beside the Football Field, 7:30 p.m.--Karaoke by Tom Hirn;  8:30 p.m.-- Van Wert Community Band. Come bring a lawn chair, grab a sandwich at the concession stand and enjoy the music and fireworks. Parking will be available in the Spencerville School District's Administration Building or at the Spencerville Schools parking lot located at 2500 Wisher Dr.

Fireworks-(by Zambellis) 10:00 p.m. at Spencerville Schools, 600 School St.  Parking will be available in the Spencerville School District's Administration Building or at Spencerville Schools parking lot.  Rain date will be Sunday, June 27, 2010.

12:00 Noon; Historical Society Log Cabin dedication and OPEN HOUSE.

Duck Races (Adults) at the Spencerville Pool, 501 1/2 N. Broadway, 3:00 p.m. contact a Summerfest Committee Member for your ticket.  You may also get tickets at Country Styles and Spencerville Subway and Shell Gas Station.  Tickets on sale starting May 2010.  $5 donation  Only 300 tickets to be sold.

                     1st place - $300.00
